These learners are equipped with foundational knowledge in nursing and are developing skills to understand and respect cultural differences in healthcare settings. By engaging in projects with industry professionals, students can apply their classroom learning to real-world scenarios, enhancing healthcare delivery through culturally sensitive practices.

Learners will work on one main project over the experience of the semester, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools. Learners in this program are capable of conducting research at the undergraduate level including laboratory and field research, meta-analysis, or retrospective chart reviews. This includes: Generating a research hypothesis Conducting basic or applied research to generate reliable data Analyzing and presenting data to a wide audience Learners have a wide-range of research interests/areas and are open to participating in a longer-term collaboration.
